Back updating about Bangkok trip again.. HAHA This shall be the last part of it all.. And because i have too many upcoming events i have yet updated, i decided to compile the photos into groups. So ya.. WOOOHOOOO LAST PART! yeah! This is the night continuing from where i last stop of the previous post. After the Dream world theme park, we headed back to our hotel to change and rest.. We had decided to meet up with stef's teacher-Sawanee who went back to bangkok on the same day as us. She is a thai by the way... And ya.. She came, visited our hotel room, and we went out for dinner @ chinatown together!  SEAFOOD SEAFOOD!  And it's really cheap! Forgot how much it cost tho.. :)  Afterwhich, we decided to go to some night market -> Sam-pat-put night market.. It was just along many long stretch of road..(just like pasar malam!) But this is really long.. We got no time to scan through the place, as we have got to leave early, so ya.  Next up, we went to Khao san road. A place filled with many backpackers.. Anyway notice the Cafe above "TRUE"? I actually came across this cafe online when i was back in singapore researching for nice cafe and stuff.. Was quite shock that i actually found it when i wasnt actually intending to find it.. LOL.. The place is just very pretty! :) This place is like a mini clarke quay. The whole place is like filled with loud music, people laughing and stuff. Its very cool!  And in the middle, they have small pushcarts selling local food and stuff. We just got to try it out! Except for the insects and stuff. Its just "EWWWWWW"  After which, we headed back to our hotel for another day rest... 19th MARCH 2009 Thursday! It's another SHOPPING DAY! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE We went Siam square for shopping in the day.. Was too busy shopping, thus sorry... no photos.. hahaha  Had lunch at some hongkong restaurant.  And at night, we went to SUAN LUM NIGHT BAZAAR.. It was HUGE man! Couldnt walk finish..  But still, we managed to stop our shopping for some nice cooling dinner at this very cool open air erm.... food centre? hahaha.. There's people singing on the stage infront and stuff... cooling fan blowing mist into the air and etc.. It was wonderful.. :)  After we reached back our hotel, stef and me decided to go for some thai massage along the stretch of our hotel street road while loretta wanna stay behind to use the free 1hr internet.. hahha..Oh well, the massage was damn good. Practically crack and pressured all our aching muscles and bones.. hahahha 20th MARCH 2009 Friday  LAST DAY SHOPPING IN TOWN! WOOOOO And we just cant wait to get back to Platinum mall.. hahhaah So yea.. Shopping was done there for the whole day and at night, we went back to finish off the whole area of SAMPATPUT.. hahaha..But too bad, we didnt really buy much stuff from there as it is more for guys.. This is the stuffs we bought so far and were compiled on the very last night at the hotel..  Part 1 - of our loots...  Part 2 - of our loots.. hahaha...  And yea.. Totally proud of it.. HAHHA.. 21st MARCH 2009 SATURDAY! The most important day.. LOL CHATUCHAK!!!!  Didnt managed to take any photos here, was VERY BUSY doing serious shopping here.. hahaha No time to lose. Very fast and furious. and besides it is FREAKING HOT! But sorry, NO HEAT IS GONNA STOP US FROM SHOPPING at CHATUCHAK! That is it. hahhahaha.. So yea, left the place at about 2pm. Went back hotel to collect our luggage.. and off we went to the airport..  Thats about it.. Oh, and we almost missed the flight again! LOL Was RUNNING LIKE MAD hugging our hand-carry bag and stuff.. It was never ending man, our gate just have to be RIGHT AT THE END! Thanks ar... i think we ran for about 10 mins straight.. WAS REALLY WORRIED THAT WE WILL BE STUCK AT BANGKOK AIRPORT MAN.. But, no..we managed to get onto the plane .. HAAAAAAAA THATS ALL!! SAYO! |
