Day 2 - Bangkok trip! (overdues post!)   A sunny bright afternoon! It's our 1st day shopping in bangkok!!   Thats the net surfing area. Each room is entitled to a 1 hr free net surfing everyday!  This is our outdoor breakfast dining area..   The breakfast was good enough! Besides buffet, we get to order from the menu list for other stuff..   And i think we ordered a little too much.haha!   Thats our TANGO hotel! and on the right is the small street called wattanawong..   Right: thats our 2 mins away 7 eleven shop from TANGO..24hr i think..   I still dont know why we didnt take a cab to the shopping area..Maybe we just trying to prove our map reading skills eh..LOL. But still, its kinda hot walking around though.     We walked from this shopping area to the next. I think we went to about 3 - 4 areas..   This area sells quite alot of stuff too. But i dont remember whats the name of it. But still Platinum Fashion Mall is the best of all! 6 storeys high, FULLLLL of SHOPS! You just cant finish walking through the entire mall in just 1 day..  headed up to the restaurant "FUJI" for our late lunch/dinner.. Its a place recommended by stef's friend.  He said that it is a nice japanese restaurant which isnt expensive!   I simply cant resist a hot ramen in a cold shopping centre! LOL.. Got to warm myself up for another round of shopping!   Chawamushi !!     As we continue walkling down the streets..  We saw JUMBO! Happy and excited to see 1 elephant right in the middle of the street, so near to us.. But sad that it is being chained. Anyone wants to feed him with peanut?  Some roadside SEAFOOD stalls!    Right: its something like pasar malam, except that there is no shelter.. But i heard that this kind of stalls is not legal, but still they attract tourist to shop! Its very cheap tooo!   At night, we decided to head down to patpong night market. Wasnt interested in the things they are selling.. Its pretty much like Hongkong's Ladies Market! Oh, and with plenty of guys shoving their laminated paper right into our face and kept saying.. "sex show sex show..?" (why the hell would 3 girls want to watch a sex show man.crazy.) They are people trying to get customer into the bar to watch those kind of shows. But even without entering, we can already get to see some entertainment right at the door there. Nope, we did not stood there and watch, we just merely walk by and caught a glimpse! HAHHA. curious what.. girls doing their things on the stage and floor etc.. My sister said that the last time she came here, they saw naked girls entertaining the customer. But too bad, we didnt get to see it this time..HAHA!   And we took TUK TUK ride home.. FAST, CHEAP and EXCITING! haha. But the pollution is killing us..   Back at our hotel, we decided to settle our dinner with cup noodles!   cheap and nice.. =) We had an early rest preparing for day 3!! DAY 3 - DREAMWORLD. (Theme park)   Had breakfast at the carpark area. WHY at carpark? Its because, the very day we choose to go to theme park, it rained a little. But still, we decided to just go ahead with the plan.. WHY? Because, we have already got the hotel to book a cab for us this morning. And the driver is waiting for us, while we are having our breakfast..  This is our friendly cab driver..The ride took us about 1hr+ i think..Cause its out of bangkok! But we are lucky to have this reliable driver.  When we reached dream world, he asked if we would want him to wait for us to be done and to drive us back home.. And we said "YES! thank you!" As we reached the place, we went to the ticketing counter. But have no idea how to buy it.LOL The very nice cab driver, went to park his cab and came to look for us. He brought us to this room to buy the ticket for all rides. Which is better, cause if we were to buy it from the outside, we will be holding on to a paper ticket which we will need to tear off the rides section in order to play. So there will be only 1 ride per game. How sad.  And this is it! DREAMWORLD! LALA LAND...     Went into the souvenir shop, to look for hats. (because its raining..) But we didnt buy it from here..  Some decorations       Right: The strongest woman in jail - Loretta!   The STRONGEST skinny no flesh girl - charline!   And the poor little prisoner.. - steffy!     Look at the reaction of hers.. hahahha This was when the elephant decided to turn to his right..  And stef didnt perform too badly too.. HAHHA..She was just tensed up..  See what i mean.. hahaha...  And this is called the BIG SPLASH! Its huge man.. People standing on the bridge will be splashed by a huge amt of water caused by the rides..  Its coming...  and SPPPPPPPPLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAASSSSSSHHHHHHHHH...... This is before it gets to the bridge..Tried to take a photo of it.. but the outcome is just purely white sky..zz     VIKING SHIP! LOVE IT! hahaha.. I really PEIFU stef for taking out her camera to take a photo of us while we are high up in the sky.. LOL.. Her hand shakes like nuts.       Right after having our lunch at KFC.. We took a mini ride on the monorail just to get our food digested first before playing other rides..   We didnt manage to play the water game, cause we didnt brought any extra clothings!    This shall be our next stop.. Its pretty fun actually.. hahaha There will be loud music playing while we spin around tilted like no tomorrow. People just danced away up there! hahaha..    Here, stef decided to give it a shot.. She want to try and win a doraemon for her friend! But failed to hit down any of the ABC blocks.haha. Nice try though..  Waiting in the queue for some indoor roller coaster! Its scary!! Totally cant see anything in the air..You dont know when you are going down, or when you gonna turn and stuff.. its just SURPRISE! hahaha..    Some relaxing activities on the pond..  Took our last ride which is the cable car..                  So yeah! Thats about it.. The cab driver arrived just on time. Helped us took this picture and off we headed back to hotel. But the day did not stop here..but i will continue it in my next post.. =) |
