I have decided to blog about my recent Bangkok trip via seperate post! YEA! This is due to the fact that i have no time to blog all 6 days in 1 post together. I will suffer like how i did the last time for my hongkong trip post. HAH! Hence breaking it down makes my life easier! :) And you gets to see it too! (Especially cherie who had been pushing me to blog about it! LOL) Alright! here you go! This is a short post about our First Day! 16th March 2009, Monday!  Reached Changi Airport at about 7+pm. Our flight is at 8.40pm. Got to reach the gate by 8.30pm. We almost missed our flight! Right after steffy gets passed the boarding checkpoint (which is taking a long time), we ran like mad to our boarding gate. Cause in less than 5 mins, our gate will be closed. Leaving us stranded at Changi airport. Oh well, right after we reached our gate, the officers quickly rushed us in and told us that we were the last passengers of the flight. (And they almost leave us behind) haahah ! Really THANK GOD that we made it! If not, our 300 bucks will be down to waste! FREAKING EXPENSIVE flight. AIRASIA for 300 bucks!!!!! I can like take THAI airway le loh! Super pissed! But, no choice also. My sister got to work soon, therefore we are restricted to that week. While on board many eyes were on us while we were all panting like shit. LOL! super paiseh!   Anyway, we considered this as a very exciting start of our trip! And we laughed away.. Reached bangkok at around 10pm, Bangkok time. Took a cab from Suvarnabhumi Airport to our online booked new service apartment a.k.a our hotel. After about 20 minutes ride, we have reached 11 Soi Wattanawong (It's the street name)! As the driver slowly make his way down the street, he told us to keep a lookout for our hotel. Cause apparently he have got no idea where is it. (the hotel is new) PANIC! (everywhere is shophouses.. no sign of our hotel) "could we have been FOOLED online?!!!" But just as we were about to panick like shit, we saw this nice clean facade on our right! IT is OUR TANGO hotel!! "OUR TANGO HOTEL REALLY REALLY EXISTED!!! MUAHahhA! so Happy!  This is our apartment taken during the day! As you can see, there is like a cafe outside .. That is where our breakfast will be at! We are just a street away from Baiyoke sky tower hotel! Plus! 2 mins away from 7-ELEVEN !! (super convenient!) Plus! Just a street opp, we have the laundry shop! Plus! Along our street, there is Thai massage shop/Mani/pedi shop!  And so.. Let me present to you our room..! A king size bed with an additional bed! Everything is nice! Just like a boutique hotel! Super satisfied with it!   And yea.. That sheet of glass is the window between toilet and the room. LOL.. I think it caters to couple staying here i guess? Cause we rather have the blinds covering it.LOL..   Everything is so nice and clean!   On your left is Bangkok Airport..   Right after we settle our stuff, we made our way to 7-11 to stock up on our supper stuff and other necessity. Its damn wierd to see a PORK cup noodle i tell you.. And they dont have chicken cup noodle de leh. Was rather dissapointed! cause im a fan of chicken more than PORK! But still, their pork cupnoodle is DAMN GOOOD! I WANTTTTTTTTTTT!! Oh and did you noticed the sanitary pad im holding? Stef went to buy it at 7-11.. It's like FREAKING LONG can! It can like cover all the way from the FRONT right to the back! Just like PAMPERS! hahaha.. she said its really good! Though its kind of expensive, it can really gives 100% prevention of leakage! hahahhaa! Okay lah.. We didnt do much on our 1st day cause by the time we reached, its already night time. Hence, we decided to get an early rest for our much needed energy for day 2! Do keep a lookout for our Day 2 post! :) |
