3 DAYS OUT WITH GIRLIES! =) DAY 1- 3rdJUNE2008 : Celebrating HAZEL WONG's belated birthday.  This is Wen ding which is also Jacinda bf.  This is my dear lovely Jacinda chearn! =) Apparently both of them are waiting for the 3 of us to get our Meni and Pedicure done.  In the process. LOL. see our little red riding hood? There, the one with black hair and red blacket. hahaha. That's lurvies btw, she is so far the 1st person i know to be so indecisive ! ! Really can die. LOL. she took FOREVER to choose the nail polish colour. In the end, we spent our entire evening in the shop. hahaha. 3 damn hours! FYI: i did EXPRESS menicure, Lurvies did classic PEDI and express menicure, and Hazel(the one in blue) did classic menicure! Poor cinda and bf have to wait for us for the 3 whole hours-which the shop closes right after we left.haha. OH! and it's my 1st time doing MENICURE! wooOHOOo.. But my nails are all still very short. haha soo.. the person cant really shape my nails. =( Anyway, its an experience. Next time i wanna try CLASSIC pedicure! get rid of all the stupid dead skin.  HAZEL WONG wong wong wong.. She join us only after abt an hour or two. Got rid of her old pink nail polish and put on a pink nail polish BUT with different kind of shades. HAH. Anyway, this is a new shop, so we all have 10% discount! Mine cost $10.80 after discount. wooo wooo...  She is the queen of nail meni and pedi customer. LOL. She just got her nails done which cost about $100++! CRAZYY!! That's why she didnt do it with us this time, cause her bf forbids her to! He told us that she can spent almost 200bucks a month on nails! wahh..cinda, you win already. hahaha..   Left the place at abt 8pm. Hazel feel like eating some chinese food. So, we head down to Din Tai Fung. SUPER hungry can!   Our birthday girl =)  Lurvies and her pink nails. LOL. If she wear sunglasses, i think she will have paris hilton that kind of look. BLUR and like they said dumb blonde. LOL.   Xiao LONG BAO!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH NICEEEEEEEEE!!! Still remember the 1st time i ate this was with my b! It's so yummy !  OOhh OOHHH...my fried rice. HEEEE...Look at the juice flowing out.AHHH.. YUM!  I think this is called shrimp dumpling? Cute presentation! I have no idea how to eat this. So, 1st i took the prawn. Then i bite off the top a lil. But in the end i gobble in the whole thing into my mouth. Cause im afraid there will be juice flowing out. lol. DAY 2 - 4thjune2008 : HAJI LANE  Went Haji lane to visit hazel.She's working in 1 of the shop. Did nth much, walk around the place, etc.. Went to eat nearby coffeeshop for my late lunch. We ordered 2 mee soto, 1 tissue prata, and 4 pcs of prata? I dont remember. After that, we head back down to hazel's. Look around etc.. blah blah blah.. After which, we were quite tired already, so i suggested BLUJAZ! =) Head up to the 2nd LVl, where all the sofa, aircon and nice music area.  This is the smoking area.  Our seats. Couldnt take photos of the place, cause its all dark. So i boh pian have to on my flash. Which makes it all so not in the right mood.zz  The big comfy chair. Really very comfortable !   The 3 of us.  The 2 of us. This photos makes me feel as if im in some beach area. LOL. All because of lurvies maxi dress. hhaa   Our nails.  Jacindaaaa I like her dress! Very silky pretty! =)  Lurvies chia- The blur woman.  ME! =)  Lurvies and mine - chicken caesar salad. MMmm Oh, did i mention that we came here not long after we ate our late lunch? LOL. We came here and ordered Caesar salad, Oreo cheese cake, Fish and Chips and a couple of drinks.HAha.    HAahaha. I got sick of smiling.  She just doesnt stop taking photo. ahaha  She told me to pose as if i am sleepy or dreaming. But i guess the outcome wasnt as close as what she said. hahah But honestly my mind is in that state. Just that i didnt express it out. aww.  I told her to advertise the sofa. She look as if she is advertising for the cushion. -.-"  Yar, she really make use of the lamp as light . Red light District. hahhaha. How much?  After we left, Haji was deciding whether to go Clubbing or eat durian. In the end, the food won us over. Hence we took the train down geylang. Walk down every street to find the famous TAU HUEY! We got to know that the famous one have moved down to street 23? i think. So, we head down many many streets and finally we have reached. And you know, it actually have taken over all the stalls and are now the owner of the whole coffee shop. Its damn big lar. Business super good. wooo.. selling tau huey and becoming rich...   The Crispy youtiao! LOVE IT!  love this tau huey too! =)  Oh and after that, we still want to eat more! HAHAHa GUESS WHAT WE WENT TO EAT? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  YES! DURIANS! woOooHOo.. Haven eat this in ages!  Here they are choosing durians. LOL  D U R I A N S  Checking to see if it's good.   Lurvies showing us how to open the durian. First: Turn the durian until dizzzy..  And last: faster split it open when its still giddy. LOL See how easily she open it. Just with 5 fingers. HAHhah. Okay, im just talking crap.  WOOOOOOOOOOOO YUM YUM !  Let LAO NIANG show you how to open another half. LOL   Cinda and durian.  Cinda eating durian getting distracted by her bf.  Our necessity. hahaa.  Not forgetting plain water to push down the durian down our throat and trying to rinse away the smell. Which is highly impossible.  Hazel drinking her coconut water. In total, we ate 6 DURIANS =) Which cost us about 5bucks each. Went back home, made myself a whole bottle of LIME juice, hoping not to get any sore throat. Which it works=) DAY 3- 5thjune2008 : VIVOCITY!  Before this, we went to Lasenza to buy some bra ! spent like about 1+hour there. Well, it's pretty common if it's lurvies you are shopping with. LOL. Indecisive woman. But well, tried a couple of it, decided to buy 3 ! And lurvies bought 3 too. Total up we have $170+, but we have discount, soo.. haha its very much lesser. =) Left the place, went to THAI EXPRESS for dinner.  Lurvies and her burning spicy meal.  Cinda and her same soup as lurvies which is also a burning spicy meal to me. LOL. But she can tahan the spicyness better.  After which, we decided to go Haagen daz for dessert! VERY EXPENSIVE! zz.. In this photo, me and lurvies share a brownie with 2 scoop of ice cream. It cost us 22bucks.  And over here. Even more pathetic, which is cinda and her bf. It cost them about $20-$30? LOL It's just a FREAKING small piece of waffle and 2 scoops of ice cream and some colour rice. WAH LAO, SHENG JING BING! waffle 80cents also can buy a freaking huge piece lo. We should have gone to ben and jerry instead.  Lalalaa. happily pouring chocolate syrup over our expensive lil dessert.zzzz Oh, we actually chat and chat and chat until abt 10.30pm. Jacinda said let's go. And we all stood up and walk away. When we turn back, the manager came out and showed lurvies the bill as she was the last to leave. It was till then, then we REMEMBER we havent foot the bill. HAHHAHA. WTH ! Totally forgot! well welll welll.. thinking back now, if only we walk away and no one notice us, we would have a wonderful dessert with no price. LOL if only everything is free. =) If you notice, the past 3 days, we have been eating ALOT! hahaha. Its mostly about food. And we are going broke anytime soon! LOLL. I think we have some hungry spell cast on us. Cause we were never FULL when we were out together! FOOD FOOD FOOD. Not to forget, lurvies kind of asking us to go out on sunday to DEMPSEY ROAD - BEN & JERRY ! and maybe go LONG BEACH for dinner. hahaha wahh.. Jialat. MONEY COME COME! The end! |
